Amy Curtis (main house and cottage)
has been at MWM since 2001. She is a certified Montessori pre-primary teacher. She has enjoyed being both teacher and mom to her two daughters during their years at MWM.
Cindy Holton-Vance
(Owner and Directress)
is a native of West Monroe and founded MWM in 2000. She holds teaching credentials from Centenary College of LA and Memphis Montessori Institute. She is passionate about Montessori and has enjoyed watching all three of her children grow and learn at MWM!
Koula Ossman (main house)
has been at MWM since 2001. She is a certified Montessori pre-primary teacher. She is a native of Athens, Greece and still visits her homeland annually! She is a proud mom and grandmother, “Yia Yia”.
Molly West (Spanish and Lagniappe) has been at MWM since 2008… before she even had a driver’s license! As a homeschool student, Molly shared her Spanish speaking and teaching skills with us. She is now a full-time student at ULM pursuing a teaching degree.
Stefanie Cady (main house)
joined the staff of MWM in 2006. She fills the mornings teaching “her babies” at MWM and her afternoons are filled as a busy mom to two teenage daughters and a son.
Sandra Naron (main house)
has been a childcare provider to two of our Montessori School families. She substituted at MWM for quite a while before officially joining the staff in 2010. Sondra has two grown daughters and enjoys leisure rides on her Harley Davidson these days!
Emy Traylor (Lagniappe)
began teaching afternoons at MWM in 2010. Her daughter is an MWM grad and her son is a current student. Emy loves art and shares her passion and talent regularly! Away from Montessori, you may find her busy at their family restaurant, Lea’s of LeCompte!
Crystal Acreman (cottage)
loved Montessori so much she joined the teaching staff of MWM in 2010 after her son graduated. She loves working with the little guys at The Cottage!
